 i meant i would do either. have done in past. as long as you end up with what you're happy with that's the important bit

  8. If i were you dude id keep the bus you have and make some changes to it

    Better the devil you know

How about a one off custom interior?

Im not a fan of narrowed beams to be honest but if thats your thing then go for it

  9. why would you swap it for something that's on a par? Where is the benefit.

Vans are selling like hot cakes to buyers with less cash, the higher priced vans will always stick around for a bit longer as you end up with a narrower audience - particularly at this time of year and under the current uncertainty over the economy. If you're getting NO interest then you're pricing yourself out, or not hitting the right audience.

Trying to sell only to prospective purchasers on a forum where most people already have one will offer a diminishing return - if you seriously want to sell you need to advertise it and/or get it on ebay. If you NEED to sell it quickly reduce the price. The magazine feature owners always amuse me and i think you had one similar - professing undying love for the van of their dreams, through thick or thin - now available for sale... maybe i'm a bit cynical but I always ask myself why?

Just been looking at your pictures Brett. That is one nice looking bus - why don't you keep it for the winter and mull it over while the market dozes and have a think, then put it back on in the spring if you really want a change?

Just an idea! I'm doing that with a house I own, but I can rent it out for a few months!

  16. a local vw club member just sold his restored latebay for 13800 on ebay.
i would not swap mine or sell it.

  17. If you got a standard motor in it, why not use the winter build something bigger ?
I think it's sounds like you need a project of some kind
