  1. can any one tell me the correct positions to drill holes for the tail gate script?

Im going to be fitting the standard type so would be greatful for any measurements :)

  2. Got a measurement for the actual position of the script:
From the lower edge of the script underlining to the bottom edge of the tailgate...95mm
From the left hand edge of the tailgate to the left hand end of the script underlining...80mm

  3. Even though I didn't ask that question, or need to know it, I am going to K+ you for such an accurate answer.

  4. Don't drill holes in your bus. I used thin strips of clear no nails tape. Stuck the rear script securely but saved me drilling holes in nice paint work and stoPs water seeping in.

  6. Did all vans have the script when new? Mine hasn't, so was mine just not replaced after resto?

  7. only earlies and crossovers had them , i have been toying with the idea of making a `THE LATEBAY.COM` one tho

  8. Does the GTI badge use the same measurements but on the other side?

  9. thanks for the replies :)

good idea about sticking it on, is the no nails tape any good? .....I suppose it will stop water getting in, I was going to use seam sealer around the holes

  10. I'm using tiger seal to stick the front badge on , used it on the wings of my mk1 and they went coming off :)

  11. 3m trim tape is what i use for sticking badges on

Its the stuff used on the back of modern car badges

Sorry fritt, mm in not good enough, Diddy will want nanometres.

  13. well nanometers to the centres of the mounting holes would be nice ;D

There are 4 staggered holes Diddy - you wouldn't want to drill those without the script in your hand. As above, stick unless you already have the holes.

  17. I'll chop off the lugs on the back of the script then
