The Telegraph live for moments like that….some fartsy theatre company ban a white audience for two whole shows and instantly all the racist xenophobic claptrap the spew daily is justified. As for the show itself….be interesting to see it’s audience numbers….can it stand up on its own two feet rather than on the back of publicity stunts.
I understand….I think the takeaway is if some form of tokenism is being undertaken (or actual sincere action, we can’t rule that out) it’s usually pinned on the far left. Whilst I take satisfaction in kicking the far right, I’m not advocating the far left can simply go unchallenged. If on the two nights of no white audience they tank numbers…..it might educate them on the relationship between the arts and business at least.

If you read the article, it is not a ban on white audience members. For two nights it is a private invitation only event and tickets will be circulated privately. That is anyone's right and given the subject matter, wholly appropriate in my humble opinion.
I doubt the powers that be and papers that promote this type of news want people to be able to work these things out like that. While we’re busy despising each other we aren’t bothering to look at what they get up to or questioning the things we should be questioning, like how much money did they make out of COVID, why have companies like British Gas, BP etc made absolutely billions during covid, why are we paying out hand over fist and the man is getting super rich. Why are we losing the right to protest!
