  1. I paid £30, from that supplier last week which is unreasonable enough, but £50 a week later is mental. It was the only one I could find that wasn't Porsche money and has the correct holes in the bracket.

    Still prefer your solution thou

  2. I had to add a bit of ally angle to hold the pump, but otherwise no difference.

  3. You're right, btw. If we get so excited by windsceen washer pumps, it probably is time to get out a bit more in the evenings...

A starter battery for a Ford Transit ? Or a traffic jam escaping from a fire in a small box.

  11. Cleaned up spaghetti wiring and stuffed it back into the dash. Used half an hour of foul profanity getting the dash pods clips back in. Whoever designed them should be shot. Quick check of electrics to see how many random earths I'd left off. All is now well. Intermittent wipe switch is now on dash, rather than under it, waiting to be knocked off by my knee every five minutes.

Just got to run the Litesteer supply cable back to the battery, and we're done.

Fitted new pump to vast Swedish washer tank. That can go in tomorrow, then I can get the floor mat down again. Only took the thing out so I could route the Litesteer cabling.

  14. For anyone else needing one of these, they're on sale here at the moment for less than £14 delivered! *Deleted*

Edit. 26/06, Never mind, they're 24V, so scrub that idea!

Just arrived, new brake cylinders and shoes. Cylinders come with a note telling me to undo them and smear grease. Is that right? [IMG]

I bet if you pulled a piston out you'd find it's already greased. There's only one way to find out...

A bit of red rubber grease is a good idea I'd say.
