Hello gang! Happy new year (if it's not too late to say so...)! We had the bus checked over in December and the garage spotted that the tinware above our alternator was out of shape/damaged, which I'm told means that over a long period of driving it would eventually start to let warm air into the engine bay area, affecting cooling. Whilst the garage have said they could try and straighten it out they have recommended that we try and find replacement tinware. I will post a couple of pics in a sec so you can see what I mean. Any advice on who I might call/email to source what we need would be v welcome!
It's fine, just straighten it. It could be sorted in situ in a few minutes. There should be a plastic cap over the alternator adjusting slot.
