  1. Here,s how i traced some history for my bus i know this on other forums but thought i would stick it up here for anyone who doesn't know
all you need to do is fill out form v888 with a fee of £5 from the dvla website here,s the link

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg/groups/dg_digitalassets/@dg/@en/@motor/documents/digitalasset/dg_065303.pdf

send this off with a polite letter telling them why you want the information and then they should send you a copy of every UK logbook
it took 5 weeks for me but they came in the post this morning

the next step will be to send a letter to each of the old owners with a self addressed envelope and a polite letter to see if they have and old paper work or pics. i will let you know how i get on :)

  2. Im going to do this once my bus is back on the road as a little treat

  4. i did this but i havnt written to the previous owners yet , thats a great idea .. our bus had thirteen owners, and started life in edmonton london as company van, it travelled all over the country and at one point belonged to someone 2 streets away from kate before she was old enough to drive.
