  7. highly recommend Scotland mate! i love it! crikey theres so many places i can recommend .. last time we stayed at 3 sites , 1 just outside of glencoe - at Glen Nevis campsite in fort william , but the best we stayed on was Oban Camping and caravan park .. Obans great , about a mile from the site but your right on the coast .. check out their Facebook page .. only a short ferry over to mull also .. ( which is worth a visit ) when i was kid we got stranded on mull in my dads old commer camper but that's another story ::)

Kyle of localsh ( Eileen donan castle - the famous biscuit tin one ) is on the way to Skye ... now theres 2 ways you could go .. across to Harris and Lewis which look amazing and i really want to go to ! http://www.isle-of-lewis.com/ or up around the coast road to torridon which is an awesome drive ( which i did in winter in my golf in -18!! ) applecross is well worth a visit , "the pass of the cattle" is almost jurrasic landscape but i don't think any bus would make it over there tbh maybe .. but its a long way to reverse on a single track road.. so you'll have to go the long way which is still a great drive..

or my new destination ( but ssssh don't tell anyone about it or they'll all go ) is The isles of Jura and islay .. my mrs loves Jura whisky so im gonna take her there .. it looks AMAZING ... http://www.jurainfo.com/ .. islay seems to have the campsites but you can just park up anywhere reasonable and stay the night that far out ...

Sooo many great places to go , you'd need longer than 2 weeks to get it all in ... sod it I'm getting my holiday request forms in now and I'm going

  10. How about a night or two in Polruan? The other side of the river from Fowey? There's a quiet site up on the hill with amazing views and you're just a cheap ferry ride across the river to Fowey. Lovely.

  17. if you want camping on the river Fowey you want to check out St Winnow camp site (nr Lostwithile)

£9 a night per van and you can have a fire

eden valley camp site at Lanlivery is another of our clubs favorite spots

Newquay-Par branch line is a great way to visit Newquay

park at Par station for free and the train cost around a fiver, the branch line doesn't follow any roads and you will see a new bit of cornwall

Treveor farm camp site is very close to the caerhays estate and beach with Mevagessy and Gorronhaven just down the road
