there are exceptions, but from what I see not many. People buy flowers because its expected and that's how it was always done, no questions asked. I don't buy anything on valentines, and we agree on this because we feel obligations are counterproductive when it comes to things like expressing love.
I bought a packet of heart shaped balloons for my daughter (she's 6) had the helium at home so she is absolutely over the moon, she got a card from a boy at school too
The Mrs has just come into the living room wearing a little pvc number, fishnets and high heels. She handed me a cold beer and told me to sit down, relax, and when she comes back she'll give me 'what she does best'. I can't wait, I flippin love Shepherd's Pie.....
I got a lovely valentine's txt message from a lesbian. Hey Dinky - we all love you, even though you have tatts.
on returning home tonight I presented My wife wit a single long stemmed red rose, a bottle of champagne and other bits and what did I get brunt chicken curry :-*
