  2. Don’t forget you can’t use an external plug in disc because it will trip
    Make sure to use the wall plug in disc and turn everything else in the house off :gnome:

    Yes it probably means it has a capacitor start AC motor and if the mains voltage dips too much on the end of a high resistance extension lead, the motor never spins up.
    The centrifugal switch on the extra winding with the start capacitor never opens so the motor stays in high power start mode all the time..and then it trips the breaker.
