My brother has a westfalia tow bar from a late bay for sale in very good condition, hes asking £90 for it. It will need to be collected from Portsmouth as its heavy
I bought a "towbar" to fit a bay, it was only when the paint was stripped back we found out it was a westfalia one...it was at the bottom of the garden!! Dont mean to crash Swervy Jims thread, I had no idea of the value of these towbars
It took me 2 years to find a Westy tow Bay & I paid £150 4 years ago for it, it took my M8 4 years to get one & he paid £200
now that is annoying. i would buy this but I have just bought a piece that fits to the bumper that wouldn't fit with the towbar. hmmm dilemmas!!
Now then, is that a genuine 1977 towbar then (daft question I know, it says on the build plate) as ours looks like this one: from here http://www.kieftenklok.net/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,1731/category_id,151/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,8/lang,en/ Is that K n K one a genuine westy one then?
I would say no Mork, yours is an aftermarket one, all westy Towbars I have seen look like the one swervy jim is selling. Chrisradio, man has one the same as swervy Jim also
Ahhh cheers for answering that for me, much appreciated! I assumed it was a westy one as it was under the K n K Westy section and the price is high! I'm not worried about it sitting too low as we have the technology to sort it
