Well, how annoyed am i? cleaned the house from top to bottom, hid stuff and did jobs i needed to do as i had a viewing (it's for sale) and with an hour to go they pulled out - tossers, i've wasted the whole day and i'd got stuff i WANTED to do.
Bet it was a bit breezy up there, but looks stunning - you can't beat those views across the Goyt Valley
Another artex ceiling turned into a smooth work of art - final couple of trowels, tidy down and then I'm gonna have me a beer.....
Van packed (according to Zoe's instructions ) Have also baked a banana loaf this morning in case the athletes need sustenance tomorrow. Camera in for recording evidence. We are packing wellies as don't do mud! ....
wellies for us to, and flasks for standing watching the crazies athletes and keeping warm with a piping hot coffee
Bit breezy!! Windgather lived up to its name, it was hard to ride straight for a few hundred yards, great to be out and dry though.
Yeh you can drop down into the Goyt Valley off the A6 between Buxton and Whaley Bridge, drive over the dam between the two reservoirs, plenty of parking and great walks, then drive back out up to the Cat&Fiddle.
Going to the St Patricks day parade in Trafalgar Square on Sunday. A few Guinness I think may be needed.
