  5. In the underside of my food larder...Ive got a wire gauze plug hole thing in the floor to allow gas to escape just in case... :)

  6. Under the side seat (which is between the full width bed and a wardrobe which goes behind the driver's seat, Westy Helsinki style).

i carry mine in the under bed storage area, if i use it i then connect it up and either put it on the top of the sink cupboard or in the awning, once i re-jet the proper westy cooker it will live under the sink where the water tank once was, i did have the american under van gastank but i removed it as it looks gash.

  8. So basically anywhere it fits :) :) :)

Thanks for the quick replies, I've read up that a low level vent is a good idea so i think I'll drill a hole for escaping gas 'just in case'.

I carry 2 bottles in the small 'gas' cupboard, low down next to the RR bed, 1 for the hob/grill and the other for the propex. There's a vent cut in the floor just in case..

  12. Don't know if you can get them but mine has the LPG tank under the side of the bus. Fantastic as it takes up no room inside, runs on super cheap LPG and you can even get an LPG propex if you want (on my shopping list)

Filling up is hilarious too. Incredulous garage attendant "Is that all????" when I go in to pay £2 for a tank full. Way cheaper than camping gaz

  13. mines in the swing out cupboard next to the sliding door with the cooker above it

  14. Thanks again fellas, I think i'm gonna go with the 'just in front of the R N R bed, i've got to run some of the pipe under the van so will probably put that section in some conduit to protect it against stones flicking up an piercing it.

  15. No bottles required on Marge, she has an underslung tank which we fill with LPG 8)

  16. Are there any underslung tanks that fit between the top hats and come no lower than the sill line?

Id like to have an underslung tank on mine but dont want it hanging down and been vunerable on rough tracks

  17. I did have on a US style lpg tank slung underneath but was generally unhappy with the condition so replaced it with a bottle inside

Mines carried in the cooker cupboard. Vent hole in the side next to the sliding door with ill fitting seal.

Make sure wherever you fit it it's secure or strapped down to stop it moving.
