Who’s trying for Glastonbury tickets?

Like wise- will try but I am less interested in going every year - I have been 7 or 8 times I think - I go for the camping and my friends not so much for the music anymore

 

No but our friends are. We however are buying Springsteen tickets instead

 

Yep, 4 of us giving it a go, never been before

 

All though I’m not working it this year I will be helping some friends to get some tickets we normally get all of them but there are 100 of us.

 

It’s a well oiled machine with spread sheets that fill in all the details and everything there around a 100 of us and we nearly always get everyone’s by the resale.

A bad connection doesn’t seem to matter we have had people get though on all sorts of devices in all sorts of places it’s just pot luck with over a million people trying.

We got all 157 we were trying for but it was a bit stressful at the end

...and it was already too big 40 years ago.
You'd miss more if you went - watching it on TV is better.
Just my 2 cents but then I don't like crowds or mud and could retire to my crusty friend's coaches if the weather was arse "back in the day".

 

I go through spates of liking or not liking crowds, depending on how I feel at the time. I guess that’s what happens, working alone all the time.
I liked going to raves with thousands of other people but I also like dragging my arse up a mountain and staying all night with just the stars and the weather as company.

It’s a group that was set up a few years ago for people going on there own
You get to meet a great bunch of people from all sorts of life’s and ages and have people looking out for each other a bit like tecenders.

Although I normally work I have been to other festivals with them and my brother who’s one of the organisers goes with them every year.

 

I’m not over fussed but would be happy to go once.
