Well as of today you'll now have to pay $399/yr for the priviledge.
I noticed that and wondered if we had turned a setting off on the forum
what a PITA!
I just resize and post direct from my computer ... Photobucket had already become a PITA with all the pop ups and adverts etc.
All of my images have gone too
I will look in to pricing or moving them when we're back home!
Looking at the costs, the $399 per year is for 500Gb storage, you can get 50Gb for (I think it said) $59.99 per year
I had to stop using it anyway. It seemed to be too much of a pain and too slow.
wow, it isn't even very good!
I now use the tapatalk app and just post photos from my phone...no idea where they are stored and don't care
That doesn't allow for 3rd party hosting or linking either though. The $99 a year one allows linking but not 3rd party hosting.
Facebook it is then
That's going to work well for them $40 a month for 500GB space as opposed to £6.99 a month for unlimited space from someone like 1&1 - let alone all the free webspace you get with most broadband providers that most people hardly ever use.
Choose the plan that’s right for you and enjoy the premium member benefits.
Plus 50 offers 50 of Storage and No Linking or 3rd Party Hosting $59.99/yr
Plus 100 offers 100GB of Storage, Unlimited Linking, and No 3rd Party Hosting $99/yr
Plus 500 offers 500GB of Storage, Unlimited Linking and Unlimited 3rd Party Hosting $399/yr
Is this a scam
Don't know. Sounds a bit like it. Ransom your piccies and not release until payed.
i use flickr. used photobucket in the past but too many adds and hard to use.
well I can still access mine so I guess not.
it was becoming sh!te ..
i upload from camera ...
save pics to pc...
heres a pic from mine...
link worked ...
That's how I do it since photobucket stole all my photos and demanded money for me to access them
I upload them to FB in a private setting then copy the image address to my post on here via the square up there ^
Cheers for the reply, I'll have a delve deeper later on n go from there!
