Have a look at a map of Nidderdale . Follow the Nidd North from Pateley Bridge , past Ramsgill and follow the road as far as you can - Middlesmoor is at the end of the tarmac ... Stay in the field behind The Crown pub . The tarmac turns into a dirt track and is well worth the half hour walk over to the victorian reservoirs of Scarhouse and Angram with great walking and photo opportunities galore ... Down the road is Howe Stean Gorge , have a look on google images Malham is fantasic but gets busy at weekends , you`ll still find `space` though . Most of all - enjoy Gods own country
Limestone pavements above Twist let on scars. Alum pot around mid day when it's sunny, you get a circular rainbow. Kilnsey crag, Brixham Rocks, Howstein gorge. The list goes on.
Well........it's a picture of a waterfall, but is it the BEST picture of that waterfall that you could have taken? I'm afraid you only get 6/10 for that one and a "Must try harder".
I wouldn't even score that a 6! That was a phone photo and I'm a Marmite photographer. Plenty of good subject matter though
Try the Green Dragon at Hardraw, you have to walk past it to get to Hardraw Force. Great campsite behind the pub and the pubs not bad either. Ask @The Bobdogs we spent a very drunk Saturday afternoon in there while the ladies walked into Hawes. Oh its not Ribbledale viaduct, its Ribblehead viaduct There is a pub at the viaduct call the Station Inn, reckon you can park up for the night in the car park
