It's been on almost an hour and no one has done an MoT search yet.

So I have , only recorded MoT was a fail back in 2006.
I thought that if you failed an MoT, even if Historic, you would have to have another pass MoT to prove work had been done to make it roadworthy.....

At that price I thought the trailer would have been underneath it.

That’s interesting. My bus is in for crash repairs at the moment. I have always been miffed at the alignment between sliding door rear, when closed and the rear panel. About 1/4 inch out at the top. You can even see it in my margin photo. Nothing to do with seals. Anyway, the old guy doing the repairs is more miffed than I and is going to have a go at sorting it out. He seems to think that the rear panel is original but the door isn’t and they didn’t quite match up, could be right as everything is filler free and solid. No leaks etc.
We will see. He spent years ( he is 70 +) putting right offs back together ( not ringing!) and it was fascinating as he explained they would spend hours riveting and screwing panels together to get the line right before welding.

We will see, he isn’t promising anything :)

  17. Oh, if anyone wants to bid and isn’t on the particular south Manchester face book group, I’ll happily pop ‘round for you - and a small % commission.
