Certainly to prove roadworthiness you would need to cross this hurdle. A failed MOT even on an exempt bus would put an owner in an incredibly difficult position to prove he had carried out the necessary work if not re-examined.
That has to be the "so I spent all this money so it must be worth the sum of all this money"... So in that case my bus is worth about £35k.. When in reality I might expect twice what I paid for it 10 years ago which was £6250.. But I have also put 94000 miles on it..
