I have one on my Bay. its brilliant. nice and quiet when running but sounds great when you dip the throttle. what impressed me most was the fit. It was easier to fit than the standard system it replaced. BTW ypou can get them with pre heater pipes. it is an option on the vintage Speed web site.
yes i have it replaced a 4 into 1 header and bug pack mondo it's much, much, much quieter and sound more like a flat 4 engine
Been in a few of my mates with them fitted, very nice not as loud as plenty of zorst so out there, and look the biz, just got one of my own on my new engine can't wait to get it in and tested now
Ooooh. I'm tempted. This is the "Sport" one, yes? Looking for something that's not as boomy as most 4-into-1s.
I can't see it throttling an engine easily, it has 3x the volume of the Beetle one I took off. I got the cheaper one good for 130. I'm nowhere near that. I thought I was beyond grinning at inane objects...
Zed, you are right it is 130bhp not 150. the superflow is for more powerful engines. I went for this as I am saving up for a 1776.
