The nights are noticibly drawing in Theres a heavy dew on the grass in the morning The crane flys are everywhere And ive lit my fire for the first time since summer
Yep, noticed on Saturday night at goredale scar there was an autumnal chill in the air... Usually I notice it mid September!
Put a jumper on Para and save the fuel for when its propper parky Was on top of Ingleborough on saturday morning and it was ruddy nithering. The clatter of brass monkeys bits could be heard in the 3 peaks area. Gonna get hotter as the week gets on. By the way bud getting a decent ammount of foxglove seed for that waste ground.
No problem here i loves the colder months as it means work for me My trailer is us though and ive no logs in yet I have spotted a few dead standing trees though that will blow down during the next high winds Wont be long before hunting and shooting season and of course stepping up poacher watch
I love the season change, when as is happening, Autumn wraps her arms around this part of the planet and everything in nature preps for a big sleep, fab, fab to see ,fab to feel, and love the colours too.
I was dismissed when I suggested it was getting a bit autumnal the other day ... 'it's only August - it's still summer', but I agree with you Para. I like Autumn, i love the colours and the crisp mornings, especially if we've had a long hot summer (sigh), but I don't like what follows. Winter's not good for me
you're not wrong buddy! got my first load of winter pansies in last week and picking up spring flowering bulbs today! got to get all the garden jobs done
