Can someone explain Twitter to me?

I love it too. Follow friends, comedians, sportsmen and women as well as news accounts. It's great on a morning to have a quick flick through and see what's going on in one quick glance.

 

twitter is adjusted to what you want to see and read. A hive mind of your interests and like minded people.

it's what you make of it ... it can be very powerful and informative if you use it correctly

 

It's much like a forum. But with a much wider variety of viewpoints and topics. Great for niche and wider media. If you think it's full of rubbish you're following the wrong accounts. Plenty of belming into the void mind. A few on here would fit in perfectly.

 

I take the dog for a walk, listen to some music, ride my bike, ..sorry I've given up with technology, don't read newspapers or watch the news,it's just depressing. sorry I know it's burying your head in the sand but I feel better for it...I go on here cause it makes me smile though.....

I gave up on the reality of "reporting " when I realised everything is "slanted" to meet the goals of the broadcast system owner, not mentioning any names but the once BBC are anything but impartial.
