Coilovers on a bay

  1. Grum thanks for the offer mate, but seeing as he's sitting so high already I was thinking of using the 4"-51/2" Coilovers from Red9 Design as I think a 4" drop would be minimum after measuring the gap I have. although if anyone else thinks otherwise or has any other suggestions? then I'm all ears.

  2. I'll find a picture of mine on the 4" & send it over to you. :)

  3. This is it on the 4" coilovers, nothing done to the rear tho.

  4. thanks for the picture, it's giving me more to think about. what size wheels/tyres are you running there?

  5. 15" BRM's (from Midland wheels, £200 for 4 as the were 2nds)
    The tyres were £65 each.
    The sizes:
    On the front I've 175/55/r15
    On the rear I've 185/65/r15

  6. Just gonna look as I can't remember the exact sizes

  7. thanks for getting back to me with the sizes mate. been a great help.

Just had gaz coilovers which have spring preload adjusters and damping rate adjusters fitted by SGS aircooled to help cure rubbing . Raised about 25 mm from too low meaning lowering is now about 75mm.

    Running with 185/65 r15 tyres.

Cost 264 plus vat plus fitting 0.5 hr.

Just drove for 30 miles around bumpy country roads and its become pleasant even loaded up with fence posts.
