Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

20 mins the meibours thought i was tring to blow it up lol just posted a video of after it

 

so today up at 7 packed lil girl off to nursary and son to school then got the engine plumbed in and broke in (very noisey) then of to fuel up and off i went off for a drive over @poptop2 neck of the woods stourport,kiddy bewdley and stopped off to see a pal who was restoring some vw with a dodgy bar thing in the window had a cuppa checked all ok then headed back to pick my lil girl up for her 1st ride in daisy not sure who was happyier covered just over 50 miles all good no leaks ect

 

took the bus out for another run today check lights ect all good thank u @Zebedee then got the curtain rails in thanks to @Keith.H and the curtains

 

then the tv/dvd and light was fitted there is a square bracket under head liner some of u may remember was welded to roof months ago and fitted in some rivnuts !! i managed to get 1 with a good coulor

si just an observ mate is the seat belt right on your child booster bud ? glad all wen ok , nice split

 

nice spot barn this booster doesnt really fit into the front seats so dont clip in properly but the rear seat belts not bought yet bud !! cheers though all going ok so far off for a road trip tomoz so will see

The vans looking great, I really like the colour, how much are those flip down dvds? was it a second hand one or new? and who did the seat covers etc for you?

 

It was a eBay job buddy came up new £95 over a year ago just kept searching 12v tv ( from china ) but really use it more as interior light as it's got x2 led lights and seats was covered by a company in kiddy called trim Shak (Clare) very good prices and work is out this world !! I'm well happy with how it turned out !!

 

So little update iv been on my 1st road trip today covered about 85 miles a roads all the way to Stratford hilly ect and came back long way on the motorway sat around 55-60 steady all the way back never missed a beat and oil not hot ect no leaks ect so gonna get her ready for 1st camping trip on Friday never thought 17months ago this time would come !!

 

We've been and seen this today at at VolksWorld and you have done a great job on it mate, thanks for showing us
