Iv'e just walked out of my 4th job (in 25 years) Sick and tired of working with idiots. People not doing their job properly is one thing, but when it means my days become harder I get *******ed off. And so I said I'm sick of this poo, threw them the lorry keys, got in my car and off I went
Done it a couple of times myself, but always had irons burning in another fire first. Hope your the same.
Deffo get your gig mate ,the number of times ,when I turned up for a shift 0n a wagon to find the most godforsaken pile of poo re job detail, lack of coherent info totally illegal load/not fit for purpose gear ,2nd man smoking drugs in cab ,and on and on ......one time checked truck over ,.indicators and lamps did not work ,informed boss ,>boss said >its ok ,you will be back before evening ! another one ,no tax on truck ,they tried to tell me its ok they had faxed dvla and got permission to do this run ! not joking fella ,if the public only realised !now ? I say ,"well ,I"ll just call the VOSA hotline ive got on my speed dial re this matter, run it by them "
Good for you Mick, it doesn't do you any good staying with a job you hate, and/or working with idiots.
Well if youre anywhere near Southampton you could have a job at lamberts, always jobs here cos they cant hold on to drivers. oh no that's right your sick of working for A holes........not lamberts then!
What Snotty says >Correct ! when my beautiful wife divorced me I thought "whats going to be good about this situation I am now in "(being divorced) and I concluded I would never again put up with all the crap I had done in jobs I loathed to bring the money home as you do when you have big financial responsibilities via marriage ,and I have for 17 years worked agency ,which pretty much suits me.if I do not like the set up I simply don"t go back.My life is far too short.
I worked in vw restos in cornwall with a lovely bloke called Rick ,he kept forgetting to tighten wheel nuts apart from other things ,i did find him useful for making tea and sending him to the pasty shop... Mick ,you care too much step back ,you did`nt employ the idiots....
No you do not need anger management more like in need of good management, I hope you find something where you are treated better and with more respect
Well done you - I've never quite had the guts to do it so impulsively, so ended up over-staying my welcome in my last job, whilst dangerously risking my sanity. I hope something better comes along for you soon.
