Silver >yamyam???<assume that's code?, I love the Brummie accent ,and for me anyhow having done loads of work into/out off Brum when trucking I found the peeps so friendly, chatty, helpful was always pleased to get a run there ,and ! soooo many really good musicians came from that area .like really great musios.
I've only done it once, on a 5am Saturday start. I went to the trouble of turning up on time then said "Know what? I've changed my mind, I'm off home to bed and you can stuff your job." It's a great feeling giving yourself the boot especially if you can leave your employer in the lurch a bit. He was a Brummie by coincidence. I had no job to go to but found a much better one within the week.
There are stupid people everywhere you go I've worked at crap places and generally move after a couple of years to chase more money , if I walked out of every job I'd never pay for anything lol But if your happy and can afford to be out of work then fair play
