   my mum had it done , no probs says my mum and eyes vastly improved, had a op on my eye years ago ,had to be conscious during same(excuse me whilst I vomit at memory!) I am a total wimp, they would not let me leave for an hour afterwards think crash helmet alerted them ! made sense thou , good luck mate .

   One of my colleagues at work has had both his eyes done, he has just turned 60 - his comments are that the op is a little uncomfortable but it was only after his eyes had healed that he a, realises how bad they where and b, he wished he'd had them done years ago!
   
   He's absolutely fine now with no problems
