"Man looking" is a time honoured tradition, it makes the little woman feel useful.

Runs away & hides before the repercussions start

I think the fairies are overspill from women's handbags as they find it to easy hiding stuff from our wives, girlfriends and bits on the side so now have move on to us hard working men.

  6. A variation is to substitute your 13mm with a 12 or 14mm job, which are completely useless...

My garage fairy once hung a 17mm socket from the rear bumper bolt and let me find it two weeks and several hundred miles later.

And on one occasion they provided me with another 10mm spanner which meant I suddenly had two.

And when really on tune , they will come up with A/F spanners from my N-reg Morris Marina that I scrapped in 1986.. Now I have the same reg bus..

And they keep on unscrewing the lid on the EZbleed brake bleeder when it is full of brake fluid and compressed air...

They're moving up in what they steal.
Somehow they've nicked my holidays & I'm back to work today :(

  12. The sneaky little gits! Whilst looking in the van for that 13mm spanner I found they had transformed it into a sock I had "lost" in october. Now I m waiting for a weekend away for them to leave me one sock and a 13mm spanner. If you find a black handled teaspoon, looks like my lot have moved into your van

  13. If any of you have lost your pants, they turned up in yorkshirecampers van a few weeks ago ...

  14. Yup when you fit a disc only do the locking ring up hand tight then you should be able to remove it by hand with a sharp tug on the disc

Wire wheels can be a bugger but i find wrapping them in your jumper and getting a good grip on them soon cracks them loose

  15. Half inch works ok though;)

  16. So does a 12mm if you whack it hard enough with a sledge hammer.:p

My evil garage fairies are homeless so are forced to hide stuff outside where it gets wet and rusts before its found again.

  19. Everyone is being rude to the fairies. It will only make their revenge worse. Ours currently have hid a maths book and a harry potter book.

I want you lot to keep your fairies to yourself. One of your fairies came over to my garage the other day and rubbed off or smudged all the little labels I'd put on the ends of my wires so I'd know where they fitted. They'd even put a little bit of petrol into the plastic bags and washed off the labels in there as well.
