    Thanks all

  2. Tunnel. I lived in Guernsey for a few years and found Condor slow, expensive and unreliable.

    Its a funny old world.
I found them cheap and reliable.
Bit like suppliers, everyone has different opinions.

  4. They are currently in trouble for ramming a french fishing boat, killing the crew. I had lots of delays and cancellations owing to engine problems, and the company getting the tide ties wrong. I will forgive them the weather delays, out of their hands. And they have the monopoly on Guernsey, so $$$

  6. Booked onto DFDS Norfolk lines Dover Dunkirk in August with Tilly booked in as advised as a large car, £ 104 return, 2 hour sailing time for a cuppa and meal, then 10 minutes to A16 one hour to Ghent, sailing out at 10 am back at 4 pm, good ship easy route in and out no problems.

  7. P&O Dover Calais. Great service. Great ships. Put my bus at the front so I was first down the autoroute! You get what you pay for. Ships, spare parts, same rule applies.

Nothing wrong with dfsf , have used them many many times. All you need is a boat that gets you the other side .
