  1. Jack Tatty it does look a lot moodier during November...hehe But you cannot beat the NW Highlands. Truly God's own land. I'm not just saying that coz I am a Jock. But in Summer it can get pretty warm. Ive been sunburnt on many occasions. The place is relatively deserted too. Not too many people. I love Cornwall, its a lovely lovely place. But I wish the tourists would freak off and leave it deserted for me when I visit. Lol. I am, however, a sucker for a cream tea. Clotted cream....mmmmmm....

Even during my scooter days I never got onto Fistral. Never got out the pub really. Went to Newquay a few times, once during the hurricane. Never got to the beach. I'm guessing its a cool place. Never surfed. I surf on 2 wheels.

In any day of the year, even winter I think the NW Highlands are truly stunning. Although for a real moody winter scene I like Rannoch Moor best. Mind you I also like Dartmoor. That gives me werewolf scares. Lol. My pet fear. Fear of werewolves. Still, better than being scared of buttons. I've digressed...

Well Boots, I didn't realise that was in Scotland. I have read that there are some truly awesome, and mores the point, relatively quiet and unspoilt beaches up your way. Furthest up that way I've been has been Fort William, we're way overdue a trip up there before too long. Have to say Northumberland has some lovely unspoilt beaches as well
