If i remember right from a local news item its a farmer from Lincolnshire digging them up.

Being just down the road from RAF Coningsby we see the Battle Of Britain flight flying over a lot.

As Zed says you gotta love the sound of them.

It'll certainly make a change getting complete ones, usually they find an original rivet and build a complete spit around it

there was a thing on my local news last night about a Lancaster bomber being restored .... it was almost complete and they are looking to fly it for the first time in 40 years .....

really puts our little vw restos to shame ...
