I thought they were building new spitfires at Duxford

 

Wonder what else is buried out there....

Love Spits and Lancs - got my own little squadron of corgi models and get all teary when you hear the sound of the engine. My brother got an original Spitfire hand riveter for xmas from here http://www.worldwarwonders.co.uk/

 

Some of them had cannons fitted but can't remember what size
