I have a set that came with my bus, but there the square ones so wouldn't look great. I do think a round set would look good and thinking of selling these one's and look for a good second hand set. So yes go for it,you can always take them of again. Its your bus and your style at the end of the day
No Lucas lights on a German bus, please: it's just wrong. Lucas-ness will slowly affect all the other electrics in your van: everything will slowly cease to function and your horn will aquire a rather depressing Brummie accent. Bosch or Hella will be just fine. If you've got the square Europa-style bumpers you may find if you take the bumper off and turn it upside down, there are mounting holes for spot/fog brackets (which you could make yourself). VW let them dangle, I believe.
