I might have to sell it if the tax man has his way !

  3. Drop the engine and do the job properly then anything else is foolish

Now i am back on the puter i can say this properly , i have sorted the fumes smell that started recently , i knew it was something simple and as it turned out it was , just the rubber join behind the spare wheel well , i have brimmed my van in the past and it has been fine until i parked on a kerb with the drivers side on the road and then i noticed a small spot of fuel . on closer inspection i found the filler hose is perished and leaking near the bend , so i now fill up to the 3/4 mark on the gauge and its fine , it has been like this since feb last year with no issue's , but i do want to get behind the firewall and replace the breather hoses in there and the filler hose asap , but if the engine needs to come out then it will have to wait until the winter because i will do loads of other stuff when it is out and if i do it now it won't be back on the road for the summer , trust me this is what i am like - it annoys the hell outa me !

Thanks to all for your advice
