Insurance renewal time, price?

i will talk to cherished on monday, i have had no issues with them and i'm wondering if they can tailor the quote a bit better for my needs, i don't need overseas cover etc so maybe we can reduce it a little, some of you are paying less but i note you are garaged where as i'm drive parked.

 

That garaged or drive parked is very important. If you say it's garaged then it is not insured if it gets nicked off of your drive.

 

One thing I was slightly impressed by was the chap at Cherished ( I think his name was James ) seemed to know his vans even though he has only been there since January , he was aware of the LB discount and I just felt he knew what he was talking about. Judging by the number of vans covered in this thread I can see why..

 

my renewal, in 2 weeks, will be £143, dodgy postcode, 12k value, 5k milage, garaged most of the time.

 

spoke to cherished, explained i'd no problem with them and was honest that i didn't want to ring round but if they could make the price sweeter i'd stick with them rather than doing that, they requoted at £172 a saving of £34 for a phone call, the killer for me is driveway parking and agreed value of 15k, that's quite a risk i guess! anyway i'm happy so thanks cherished if you read this.
