Is it really worth the effort for a £225 beam ,if you add owens hours/steel /weld/gas /electric /injuries ... Plus if I went to look to buy a camper and the beam had been welded ,I would assume owner would be happy of giving me a discount for changing it...
it all depends on what ye want a rust one or a good one is cheaper , but there thin on the ground here , and i have the tools skill and time to do it , but if i done what i done for some one i would want £300 for doing it , thats not me taking it out or painting it or fitting it owen nw
Not that I am selling but the time, materials and I would need to become a ninja welder is telling me that a switcheroo is required madpad - will give you a ring and arrange collection over the next day or so when I know my movements
I started repairing mine but when i added up the costs of new bearings steering pins adding adjusters painting etc even if a got a 2nd hand one i went for one of these http://www.creative-engineering.com...ategory_id=25&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26
