The place where people usually tap the case for the oil line to come out to the oil filter (the "full flow" oil line modification) usually interferes with the engine brace bar on late bays that the back of the engine hangs from. The pipe coming out of the engine block prevents you putting the engine bar back on. It's unavoidable, unfortunately. I'm not sure it's that, because I solved the problem when I did this by notching one of the brackets on the brace bar. Not sure this would need Laurie's eyes on it, so it might be something else.
