  1. This is my new baby, Flora. She's a January 1973 Kombi converted by Holdsworths (I think). Plans are to tidy up the inside for now and just enjoy getting out and about for the next couple of years until I save up enough for the bodywork and a respray. Engine has been redone and there's no structural rust underneath.

I'm in N Ireland, half an hour from Rusty Restorations which is going to come in very handy![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  18. Is there an upper limit to the amount of fibreglass acceptable on a T2 before it stops being made of steel? Asking for a friend ... Actually it's not too bad in the grand scheme of what I expected.

So this week's improvements. Windscreen wipers, still working on the cab, new radio and new lenses on the back lights.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    The true test is this.
If your van was being driven by a roadrunner down an American desert road, and it passed under a cunningly disguised overhead electro-magnet held by a crane, being operated by some kind of coyote, would it be lifted off the ground?

Answer yes - your van is still mostly steel.
Answer no - your van is mainly filler / the coyote is incompetent

I hope this clarifies the situation :)
