Cold and damp here. Just been writing Chrimbo cards, that's enough to send a glass eye to sleep!.
Shower and hit the sack now.

    BlackAdders Christmas carol is on.
And I saw Santa on his float, erm, ‘Sleigh’, earlier, with all his little elves shaking their buckets.
    Must be Christmas soon then…

  15. Too much pate last night, or a dodgy salad cream sandwich.

    Gut explosion ongoing.

    Not tidy.

It's not often you drive home late at night, get a couple of hundred yards from your house and find a woman laying in the middle of the road

It was actually a fairly early night for returning from a gig - about half past midnight. I was following another car and suddenly it stopped and put the hazards on. Two young lads got out, as did I and we went to lend assistance. It was a lady, possibly in her early 60s, flat on her back in the middle of the road. With some effort we got her to her feet and then to the side of the road

She was quite unsteady on her feet and had bumped her head. She also said she suffered from COPD. I'm not sure if brandy is an approved medication for that condition, but it smelled like she was trying to find out

Anyway the two young lads, both wearing their Butlin's fleeces btw (there's no Butlin's in Leicester afaik!), took her to her home just round the corner in their car. She wasn't likely to make it on foot

Bit of a random end to the evening. Hint of the Samaritan on my part, but then quite happy to leave her to the two young Butlin's guys :)
