Night crew - only posts between 01:00 and 04:00hrs allowed

Just got back from a New Year's Eve's Eve gig. They wanted us for NYE but we were already booked, so they had a party tonight instead. As it's a party I decided to bring out the smoke machine as it always makes the lights look good.

So all is going great, we're playing well and the party is swinging. Then I hear a shout of "Norris!". I turn round and can't see my band mates! The non-latching button on the remote switch of the smoke machine has become stuck in and smoke is billowing across the stage!

I guess it's become gummed up with old beer and muck. There's a job for tomorrow then. Good laugh though

 

I’ve just got from my mates. It was his birthday yesterday, but he has no family to speak of, who remembers. Only a sister that lives thousands of miles away. Going to have to complain to Asdas, as I bought him a cake which says 16 servings, but it was only four each!

After 4 hours in bed , no sleep so up for Christmas cake and glass of milk
