Cuts out above 40 !!!! you boy racer !
Use mine whilst driving with no issues just under floor, either side of the heater tube.

Sometimes when the gas has been disconnected, I found running on cold for 15 seconds then switch to heating solved that.

From memory it was the old IT trick… switching off then on again.
I was having issues with leisure battery/charging, so it might have been a contributing factor.
I’ve slept since then, but I know it wasn’t anything major.

When I stripped my £10 secondhand Propex down to its inner workings for checking - I found a pile of dust/ fine gravel round the combustion air flow sensor inside the heater. The airflow goes round a corner from a narrow channel to a wider one, so the intake air slows down at that point, and it drops dirt.

I blew out the very tiny sensor with "compressed air" and my heater stopped cutting out when I started it. (Its screwed in with an M2 screw and has really fine wires going over to the controller PCB)

The heater was then resealed with the same kind of silicone glue that Propex use to seal and separate the various air channels inside the heater .

However, if that is the case for any Propex, then talking to Propex and sending it to them for service should fix it.
