Does anyone know of a rolling rd near Sheffield. They also need to know about twin carbs ideally dellorto. The ones i have spoken to don't know how to set up twin carbs they just deal with modern injection engines. Thanks Paul
http://autotronixdevelopments.co.uk/ these mate, i went and it was the best money Ive ever spent on the bus!
There's Pete Burgess in Alfreton, Keith who works there is very clued up on his Vw's and knows them inside out just about. Worth trying there. Are van is booked in on monday.
standard rolling road costs 72 quid but I had no fuel pressure in my left carb so he sorted that out, re jetted them and got them running right for both fuel efficiency and performance and total bill was 140 quid, will be going back as and when I need them
Any chance of some further details. I might get around to fitting my dells at some point in the not too distant future and hes not far away! any idea on costs. Perhaps If I call him and make some arrangements it might spur me on eh!
Not sure on cost haven't thought to ask, Defo give them as ring as I know they are busy. I had to book in for this slot back in May. Scott.
Thanks, just spoken to him as well. he is booked up til August at the meoment. I didn't know there was anyoe whop could do this job, let alone 2 near to Sheffield. Thanks for all the replies
I think the Autotronix guy is called Clive - Adam (Joycee) uses him and speaks very highly of him, he got his bay and his bugs sorted there!
Pete Burgess is supposed to be excellent. One of his relatives has a son in my son's nursery, and they are VW mad. I will be going there to have my carbs looked at.
Ive not seen you around - I'll look out for you as I pass through Alfreton daily on my way to work (I'll not admit to being an ex Morto's pupil too)
Yep i was in Tesco, parked in the parent and child spaces (I did have two of my kids with me at the time). I believe she is a devon, and certainly has a long roof.
