    Nipped in to the Jolly Sailor in Poole for a spot of lunch. Realised the last time I'd actually been inside was in 1981. Gah. It's turned into a mini-Weatherspoons. Bring back the cramped, smelling-of-beer-and-fags-with-the-occasional-chair-fight pub it used to be. Great for bands, although the stage was so small, the bass player used to have to stand by the toilets.

    Is this progress? I think not.

    i have never seen as many conkers on chestnut trees as thius year same as the horthorn bush es and other trees ole farmer beside me said thats shows where in for a very hard snowy winter
