Stick a log on the fire!

Left it going all night, there was about 6" left this morning so we resurrected it in the vain hope that @oscar might catch some fish for breakfast.
Sadly we'd have had to burn half the New Forest before that happened.

 

It's them burford fish. My sweet corn wasn't posh enough for them.

 

I think we have proof to the contrary.
After an entire day's fishing, all @oscar had caught was some weed (not the good kind)
Exactly 3 minutes after turning up, Daniel (son of @hibiscrub), a boy of 12 managed this....

Not enough for dinner but a 100% improvement on someone's efforts!
And he was using your sweetcorn!

 

Bugger. I've run out of excuses now.
