The bits that fit under the tubes, spanning between the bottom of the block and the heat exchangers are easy to fit. Your engine won't overheat without them.

  4. see that's wot I am thinking based on what you guys have posted, specifically, i"ve done London -Glasgow several times ,bus is miles from where I am at mo. will have a look tomorrow,I have fitted the tin that attatches to heat exchangers ,in fact until I read on another post that these bits existed I"d never known of them and assumed I had all tin fitted ?hopefully I have.

Soooo - what made you think they were missing?

  6. well 1st ,it was only by reading a.n.other thread I realised they existed ,and as said ,last time I was under bus I had a squint thru very small gap(approx2mm which exists where tinwear attatches to h/e ,)at pushrod tube area expecting to see them ? and as all I saw was ,funnily enough pushrods ,I assumed I had none ,and as I am particular re having all the tin that's supposed to be there and all the seals too, I was/am annoyed (in my now assumption) that they are missing ,going by the posts thou ,and long runs I"ve done prob best I look properly tomorrow.
