morning zed your interior is so sweet i love it
i wanted leather in mine but my upholstery guy said it was very expensive and with three kids it would get scratched a lot

I wanted leather and wasn't put off. If it gets scratched it'll still look fine and worn - it's leather. If it was plastic and scratched it might not look so good. The stuff I used was general upholstery leather and not as strong as the stuff generally used in vehicles, but it won't get the wear a drivers' seat would. It wasn't cheap, but the rest of the interior was all labour (mine) so I reasoned that I could afford to ice the cake as you might say.

  3. Use a mattress protector, I vinyl seats and mattress, the protector works great, no sweating and sticking to the mattress.
    Works for me

  4. I've got vinyl, all I do is chuck a throw or a blanket on it and lay on top of that nice and cosy not cold or sweaty.

  5. Vinyl covers with a under quilt to sleep on very cosy and comfy great in all weathers and I am speaking as a commited insomniac.

I have in my collection of 'remove but dont throw away' a set of the original Devon cushions. One side is vinyl, the other fabric.

On the boat the vinyl matresses tend to be clammy at all times and worse when your bare arm sticks to them if its hot.
