What about these carbs.What for a T4 bay

  1. On a positive note for Webers, I know that Progressives seems to get a bit of stick but, having been gifted mine on the engine I bought, having refurbed it myself with absolutely no training or knowledge and jetted, fitted and tuned it following @mikedjames advice on here including designing and building my own linkage mech. I love mine, it tootals along fine until I put my foot down and then all of a sudden it flys (perhaps flys is a bit strong!) albeit being a big heavy bus, it does seem to do what it says on the tin!

    That poor throttle response is just one of the reasons why a single progressive with very long and tortuous manifolds on a Type 4 doesn’t work well. :)

  3. That might be the case on a Type 4 but, I don't see a poor response on mine it picks up straight away clearly when the second choke kicks in. The other thing is that I still have the electric choke connected so it starts easily too, so long as I press the accelerator a couple of times it starts even on the coldest mornings.

    Any chance of some picture of the ICTs fitted in people's buses please (Type 4 engine).Not sure on a few things ? but I am more a visual person so i can get a quick answer without a confusing everyone with silly questions. Thank you
