What have you bought on ebay today?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Poptop2, Feb 3, 2016.

  1. I have just bought some very expensive brown brogues, as I often say to young women of my acquaintance,

'There is nothing I enjoy more than splashing out on a fine pair'.

    Have you spoken to Fiona?
Not quite her exact words, but very close.
Apparently we will be discussing my purchase over the weekend, still she did allow me to take her out for dinner. :food::cheers:

  7. eBay to the rescue again!

My search for a D pillar has hopefully came to an end. I'm assured that once the one in this has been cut out it will be perfect and rust free!
I've had one on back order with JK for 8 months and they have no idea if or when stock will be available.
It was 50% more than a brand new panel, will take a load more hours to dig out and fit but on the up got a free light cluster!

Today, these turned up. Not before customs had fleeced me for £29 and the post office adding a handling charge of £8.

Still very pleased to have a piece of history such as this in my collection. NASA is somewhere I would love to have done 30 years service. History in the making.

Based on all the talk of Tumble dryers catching fire, transporting dogs being a faire hazard & Barry's transportation of seat belts in tumble driers, I threw caution to the wind & bought a fire extinguisher off ebay.

It pays for one to listen to the forum & take the advice given.

    Sorted

I had two freebies last year. I did ask if anyone wanted them.

  12. Just make sure you strap it in well and regularly remove the lint.

Seriously, the insurance for Gusbus came through Friday, the amended the policy to have an extinguisher to hand. Last year we didn't need one!

  16. I've been on the lookout for a NASA Meatball pin for a while now, missus is space daft!
Didn't think it would as difficult as it has been. Not even looking for a authentic year edition, although her birth year is 1970 but she would be happy with a current one from their tat shop.

    This one is new.

    No extra import duty either.
