    built Jan '79, registered Apr '80..so '79 it is...and clearly hung around somewhere for 15 months or so..

    usually behind the passenger seat or lh side on the bulkhead pre 76 , has your bulkhead been chopped ?

  7. Built Jan '73 registered Mar '73. It used to be a low light, now it's a high light.
     
  8. Well I am amazed, up to now this poll shows that (on this site at least) 40% of late bays are early ones ie 1972/73 ! There must be something in what zed said about them being better built :)

  10. People have been putting down the year of manufacture, and '73 buses aren't tax free (yet ;) )

    i doubt it was a low light when it left the factory !
     
  12. Quite right. It was a DIY job (round indicators where the low lights should have been). I was lucky enough to come across a PO who sent me some photos.
