  1. Had another day on the camper.

Front welded into place, door raps will need some more felting, before I’m totally happy with the gaps, but overall happy with how it all turned out.

Just got to fit the bottom corner closing panels and finish tacking the top / door corners.

  4. Had a some more time on the camper. Welding on the bottom closing panels, may need to adjust the folds slightly before finally tacking them into place, to match the door gaps. Otherwise happy with that.

    Front on :)

  5. Had some more time on the camper, removed dash, cleaned and painted area.
Wow wiring was terrible, how on earth things were working is beyond me, so guess a new loom is going to be needed.

  6. Haven’t posted much on here lately, so here’s an update on our process.

95% of the welding now done, just the backend to do now, which our local VW guy is going to do as the engine needs to come out and I can’t get it high enough in the air to work on it safely.

so the good news is, it’s off the axel stands and engine is now running. So when it returns to us, it will be able to be used on the road, so will then can finish doing the bodywork and repairing the pop top.

    Happy days ahead…..
