personally i`d forget the extra cooling and deep sump and just make good what you have wether it be an alternator upgrade or a valve decoke and re-lap , a good clean and just make sure everything is in good order
That does sound a little thin. The minimum recommended is 0.36 in or 9.4mm so anything under a 10mm spanner and you should change it
what you need to look at is the rivets that hold the friction material to the disc... if there is 1mm, or less, between the surface and the head of the rivet, replace the clutch also a good indicator is if it's smooth, and the "pucks" have worn away.. (see image below) other mods are bigger engine/turbo/NOS/all of them
this little fella often gets missed http://www.coolairvw.co.uk/Item/NA/113311113A/Gearbox_Input_Shaft_Seal.html
I,m kind of likeing the lawnmower speeds at the moment, makes a change from my normal raceing around everywhere
Yeah i got to seconds that, i like going slow in it. Feels good for some reason. Would just like a rev counter now so i can see what the noises mean lol. I can only judge it by how much air comes out the dash vents, not so accurate.....
the best thing i did was make good all the engine take ur time and spray/clean it all out makes such a huge difference
