Nope! Popped on a new EMPI, I know they get a bad rap, but I have run them in 2xbeetles and a bay I previously owned without any issues The old one is safely stored in my ‘pile of crap’
I have taken to painting a message on this kind of thing using a Sharpie style felt tip pen- washes off with thinners when you want to sell it( ahem. . ). But the message acts as a reminder that something is wrong with it next time you pull that nearly new thing out and try to use it when it was "kept for spares" and forget its actually junk...
